Maybe I'm a little early here, but it is March, so why not? It's a four-leaf clover for St. Patrick's Day! One question that's been on my mind is: can a non-Catholic Christian celebrate this day despite not recognizing saints? It seems like everyone celebrates, no matter what their religion, primarily by going out bedecked in shamrocks and the color green and getting very, very drunk. I am not quite old enough to drink yet, and have no interest in getting drunk besides (since I believe it is immoral and just don't like the idea of not having control of myself at all times), but I do have a green pair of socks I can wear. I've read that some people punish others for not wearing green on St. Patrick's Day by pinching them, which I have never run into (fortunately, because I think that would hurt and isn't very nice), but I don't intend to bother anyone.
